Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Achivo ("we", "us") collects when you visit achivojobs.com and when you use the Achivo Chrome extension, why we collect it, and what rights you have. In short: the website records a little technical data and, only if you agree, analytics. We receive nothing from the extension: it stores what it handles in your browser and passes it only to the application forms you ask it to fill.
The website
Server logs
When you open a page or download the extension, our web server records your IP address, your browser's user agent, the address requested, the referring page and the time. We keep these logs to protect the website from malicious requests, such as attacks and abuse, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after six months.
The website runs on a server rented from a hosting provider in the European Union, which stores this data on our behalf.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how the website
is used. It records the pages you view and the page you came from, scrolling, clicks on
links to other websites, file downloads, site searches, video plays and form interactions.
With these it records your browser, device, language, screen size and approximate location,
which Google derives from your IP address without storing the address. Until you accept, the
analytics script is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Once you accept, Google
Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which tell
visits apart and expire 13 months after your last visit. Google deletes data about
individual events after 2 months, and data about you 2 months after your last visit.
Aggregated reports, which don't identify you, are kept longer. The legal basis is your
consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google Ireland Limited processes the data on our behalf, and it
may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US
Data Privacy Framework.
To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more information on the privacy practices of Google, please visit the Google Privacy & Terms page.
Your cookie choice
The website sets no cookies of its own. Your answer to the cookie banner is stored in your
browser's localStorage, so the banner does not ask again, and it is not sent to
us. Cookie settings at the bottom of every page changes it at any time;
rejecting analytics deletes their cookies.
Do-Not-Track
Browsers can send a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signal. No standard for responding to it has been agreed, so we do not respond to DNT signals. Analytics run only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
The extension
We do not receive any information from the extension. Your profile, CVs and their files, saved answers, applications and settings are stored only in your browser, on your device. The extension sends no usage data, analytics or crash reports.
- To find application forms, the extension runs on the pages you visit.
- When you submit an application form, it saves your answers with the address of the page, so it can offer them again. This is on by default and can be turned off in Settings. Adding an application when a supported site confirms the submission is a setting too.
- To keep the job description with an application, it downloads the job posting from the job platform you applied on. The request carries no cookies and none of your profile, answers or CV, but like any web request it shows the platform your IP address and browser.
- When you ask Achivo to fill an application form, it enters your information and CV file into that form on the employer's or job platform's website. The site can read them as soon as they are filled, even before you submit, and handles them under its own privacy policy. This is the only way your information and CV file leave your device.
- Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.
Achivo's use of the information it handles complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. That information is used only to provide Achivo's features, is never sold, is passed to others only in the forms you ask Achivo to fill, and is never used for advertising or to determine creditworthiness.
Emails to us
When you write to privacy@achivojobs.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to answer you, which is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, when you exercise your rights, to meet our legal obligation to respond (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). The mailbox is hosted by Tutao GmbH (Tuta) in Germany, which stores the emails on our behalf. We delete them one year after the matter is settled.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing that happened before. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@achivojobs.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will post a notice of them on the website.
